Vaisakhi Festival April 2024
Six months into our journey, we are committed to providing exceptional service not only to the infants who enter our doors but also to the Gravesend community around us. This month, we had the pleasure of joining the Sikh community to celebrate the festival of Vaisakhi.
Vaisakhi is a significant Sikh festival that marks the beginning of the harvest season in Punjab and commemorates the birth of Khalsa, which was founded in 1699.

We had the pleasure of visiting the local Sikh temple with some of our children and inviting all parents to join us for the Vaisakhi fair. Situated on the sports grounds and surrounded by many local businesses and services throughout Kent, we are proud to have set up a gardening stall. We offered the community free seeds to plant, giving them the opportunity to embark on their harvest journey this spring.
We enjoyed watching the processions as they paraded past our nursery and through the streets & town centre of Gravesend.
