Fees & Funding
At The Grove Daycare Nursery, we want to make your nursery experience as carefree as possible.
All our fees are inclusive of our nursery consumable charges;
Nursery consumable charges are extra fees for items like food, nappies, wipes, sunscreen and non-funded hours not covered by government-funded “free” hours. These optional charges help providers bridge the gap between inadequate government funding and actual operating costs. These costs are often required to maintain service quality and ensure the nursery’s financial viability.
Meals £10.20 per day | Nappy & Wipes £3.60 per day | Suncream £0.25p per day | Non-funded hours – variable monthly fee depending on age, funding type and sessions
At The Grove Daycare Nursery, we want to make your nursery experience as carefree and inclusive as possible, that’s why we offer an all-inclusive service, everything from freshly prepared home cooked meals, various refreshments throughout the day to nappies, nappy cream, wipes and sun cream. The only thing we require from you is a change of clothes, a sun hat for the warmer days, wellies for jumping in muddy puddles and sand play. For children in the Olive room (babies) we require measured out formula milk.

Funded Childcare
The Grove Daycare Nursery is offering the following funded childcare options through a stretched funding scheme to assist with childcare costs throughout the year;
- 30 Hours of Funded Childcare for Working Parents of 9-Month-Olds
- 15 Hours of Funded Childcare for Disadvantaged 2 Year-Olds (FF2)
- 30 Hours of Funded Childcare for Working Parents of 2-Year-Olds
- 15 Hours Universal Funding For All 3 to 5 Year Olds
- 30 Hours of Childcare Funding for Working Parents of 3 to 5 Year Olds
Additional Information
General Operating Hours
The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm and is closed on weekends, UK bank holidays, staff inset days and the days between Christmas and New Year.
Admissions and Bookings
Places offered are in accordance with our admissions policy.
Sessions are booked with a minimum of two full days or more.
Discounts
A 5 percent monthly discount is offered to siblings or twins who are enrolled in non funded places only.
A 5 percent monthly discount is offered on full time, full day care for non funded places exclusively.
Registration and Deposits
A non refundable registration fee of £100 is due to secure your child’s place.
A £300 deposit is required on accepting your child’s place. This is fully refundable when your child leaves the nursery. Refunds of deposits do not apply to non starters (T and C’s apply).
Payments
We accept payment by Direct Debit, Tax Free Childcare or childcare vouchers only.
Late payment charges of £25 per day apply.
Late Collection
A late fee of £15 every 15 minutes will be applied to your next invoice if you are late collecting your child.

Fees are subject to review in accordance with our terms and conditions.
